In der CXG-Studie im Auftrag des NDC gaben 64 % der Kunden an, "die Präsentation von natürlichen Diamanten in den Geschäften nicht als signifikant anders empfunden zu haben als die von synthetischen Diamanten."

Die Untersuchung bestätigt, dass die Rolle der Verkaufsberater bei der Aufklärung der Kundinnen und Kunden von großer Bedeutung ist, um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden sowie Vor- und Nachteile transparent zu kommunizieren.
